Day 1: Arrival Nairobi, Transfer Tamarind Tree Hotel
Tamarind Tree Hotel – Dinner
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and assisted to transfer to Tamarind Tree Hotel. Ideally located just 5 km southwest of the City within the spacious Carnivore grounds and its iconic Carnivore Restaurant, Tamarind Tree Hotel has easy access to Nairobi, its national park, and the country’s diverse attractions via the neighbouring Nairobi Wilson Airport and Southern Bypass. With the new expressway, you will only spend 15 Minutes from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Tamarind Tree Hotel. The nearby suburbs are among Nairobi’s liveliest and most popular with world-class shopping malls, and restaurants. Within a radius of 6 KM you can visit the Nairobi National Park, Karen Blixen Museum, Giraffe Centre and David Sheldrick Elephant Sanctuary.
The Tamarind Tree Hotel offers a variety of wining and dining venues. Whether relaxing over afternoon tea in The Lounge, sipping your favourite cocktail by the pool, or dining at the iconic Tamambo Restaurant, there are opportunities to indulge your every taste. For light bites and delicious packed lunches for your day-trips, our 24-hour Duka Coffee Shop offers a variety of freshly prepared, healthy and convenient snacks and refreshments to-go. The Tamarind Group’s restaurants are famous across the region. Just a short nature walk from the hotel is the world famous Carnivore Restaurant, renowned for its “Beast of a Feast” all-you-can-eat meat experience and entertainment. An evening at the Carnivore and adjoining Simba Saloon is a true African dining experience and an essential part of your stay in Nairobi.

Days 2-4: Transfer Wilson, Fly Amboseli
Accommodation: Tawi Lodge – Fullboard
Fly by scheduled flight to Amboseli where you have two full days of game drives in open vehicles, walks with local Maasai, and a visit to a local Maasai village. Perhaps enjoy a sighting of Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background. Upon arrival you will be met and assisted to transfer to Tawi Lodge. Set in the heart of its own 3,000 acre private conservancy and in one of the richest game areas in Kenya. Set on Kenya’s south-eastern border with Tanzania, Amboseli is a place of ever changing landscapes, from acacia woodland, giant palm forest, dusty dry lake beds, volcanic plains, to lush, cool, green swamps fed by the snowmelt of Kilimanjaro. Home to some of Kenya’s biggest elephant herds. These gentle giants stroll across the landscape in their hundreds, a wonderous and awe inspiring sight! Exceptional views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, excellent wildlife and exotic birdlife… The name ‘Amboseli’ comes from a Maasai word meaning ‘salty dust’

Days 5-7: Transfer Lewa Conservancy
Accommodation: Lewa Safari Camp
Board your scheduled charter flight to Nairobi and connecting on to your next camp situated in the Lewa conservancy. On landing, you will be met and assisted to transfer to Lewa Safari Camp. Nestled within the sprawling Laikipia plains, the charming Lewa Safari Camp is set on the privately-owned Lewa Wildlife Conservancy; home to a splendid array of wildlife, and some of Kenya’s most spectacular scenery. Spacious and luxurious, each of the camp’s thatch-covered tents boast a comfortable bed, lovely ensuite bathroom and private veranda. The guest areas overlook a popular waterhole and include a dining room, library, bar and an inviting sitting area with a fireplace. In between game viewing adventures, guests can retreat to the coolness of a sparkling swimming or enjoy a spot of game viewing from the camp’s hide. Adventures include twice-daily game drives, guided walks, Ngare Ndare forest excursions, horseback safaris and camel rides, as well as enchanting cultural tours.
Lewa Conservancy – A UNESCO World Heritage Site recognised for its exceptional community conservation model, the conservancy is a stronghold for the protection of East Africa’s black rhino. Once a sprawling cattle ranch, Lewa was transformed into a conservation area by landowners working closely with the region’s communities. This tour offers the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of the conservancy’s conservation and community initiatives as well as to visit the area’s pre-historic archaeological sites.
There is an abundance of exciting activities to do at the conservancy, including impressive game drives tat showcase the variety and densities of wildlife. Keen bird watchers can look forward to the sight and sound of close to 350 bird species. Viewing wildlife on foot, accompanied by local armed guides, provides an up close and personal interaction with the wildlife and the flora and fauna. The ability to do a walking safari experience is one of the factors that make Lewa a truly unique safari destination. Sit quietly and watch elephant, impala, waterbuck and many other species come to drink water in the nearby marsh or chose to drive, walk or ride to a secluded area. The mouth-watering local dishes, the roaring bonfire on chilly evenings and the enchanting Maasai dancers are recipe for a memorable evening. Educational tours on the history and day-t-day operations of the area provide a fascinating insight into the running of conservancy.

Days 8-10: Transfer Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Accommodation: Rekero Camp
This morning you will transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to the Maasai Mara. Upon arrival you will be met by your guide and driven to Rekero camp with game drive enroute. Witness the greatest wildlife concentration and diversity in the world in the heart of the Masai Mara in Kenya. The camp overlooks the Talek River migration crossing point. Guests can watch the herd make this perilous crossing without even leaving the camp. Enjoy this and other wildlife sightings from the comfort of your riverside tent or from one of the two communal decks.
Nine classic, spacious safari tents are set among the trees overlooking the Talek River. Each tent has an en suite bathroom with a flushing toilet and hot-water shower. Chill out on a daybed on your private veranda for a midday snooze or to watch zebras ambling along the riverbank. The Masai Mara is in southwest Kenya, on the border with Tanzania. It is one of the most popular safari destinations in Africa — and for good reason Every year, from July until October, around 1.5 million wildebeest cross the crocodile-filled Mara and Talek rivers as they follow the rains in and out of Kenya. One of their Talek crossing points is just 150 metres from Rekero’s dining area, and the Mara River is only a short drive from camp.

Day 11: Depart, Transfer Wilson, Nairobi
Optional: Meals/Dayroom
Morning game drive. Afternoon scheduled charter flight (3:00pm) from the Mara to Nairobi leaving behind the rolling plains of Maasai Mara. On arrival you transfer to the International airport for your onward flight.
