10 Days Intrepid Expedition
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Transfer to Lake Nakuru
Accommodation: Sarova Woodlands Hotel & Spa – Lunch & Dinner
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and assisted to board your Safari Land Cruisers. Your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park begins after the safari briefing, with a brief stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint for a stunning view of the Escarpment. Proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park for a mid-morning game drive before returning to Sarova Woodlands Hotel for lunch. After freshening up, head back to Lake Nakuru National Park for the afternoon game drive.
Lake Nakuru is rich in game opportunities and is Kenya’s most popular national park. Centered on a large, shallow lake that supports a vast array of birdlife, including flocks of pelicans and flamingos, the park is known for its black and white rhinos and big cats. The park is home to approximately 400 species of birds and many species of game, including Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, and various plains game. Return to Sarova Woodlands Hotel & Spa for dinner and overnight.

Days 2-3: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Accommodation: Mara Serena Safari Lodge – Full board
After breakfast, drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, known for its stunning scenery and abundance of wildlife. Arrive for lunch at Mara Serena Safari Lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive until sunset. Discover the vast, rolling landscapes dotted with acacia trees and migrating wildebeest herds. Mara Serena Safari Lodge, located high on a bush-cloaked hill, offers sweeping views of the savannah and the Mara River.
The lodge features 74 guest rooms inspired by Maasai heritage, with designs reflecting the natural splendor surrounding it. Enjoy a blend of Africa’s untamed beauty and modern sophistication during your stay.

Days 4-5: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Serengeti Serena Lodge. This award-winning lodge offers panoramic views of the Serengeti’s grasslands, where lions and cheetahs stalk their prey. The lodge’s architecture blends seamlessly into the landscape, providing an immersive experience in nature.
The Great Migration occurs throughout the year, with massive wildebeest herds moving in search of fresh grazing grounds. The park is also home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, and other iconic African wildlife.

Day 6: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving in time for lunch. Check in at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, which offers breathtaking views of the crater. The lodge is decorated with African artifacts, drawing inspiration from the cave paintings of Olduvai Gorge.
Enjoy game drives on the crater floor, home to an impressive array of wildlife and birdlife. Explore the stunning landscape and learn about the origins of humankind during a visit to the fascinating Olduvai Gorge.

Day 7: Tarangire National Park
Accommodation: Nimali Tarangire – Full board
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and stunning baobab trees. The park’s vegetation consists mainly of acacia woodland and giant baobab trees, attracting a variety of wildlife during the dry season. After a picnic lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive.
Check in at Nimali Tarangire Camp, an intimate tented camp overlooking a dry riverbed. The camp is set in a private concession that offers exclusive game viewing away from the crowds.

Days 8-9: Amboseli National Park
Accommodation: Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge
After an early breakfast, transfer to the local airstrip for a flight to Amboseli National Park. Known for excellent elephant sightings and views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the park offers thrilling adventures, including game drives, guided walks, and cultural tours.
Upon arrival, check in at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, set against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro and surrounded by acacia trees. The lodge provides a luxurious and serene environment, with views of the savannah and nearby swamps.

Day 10: Depart, Transfer to Nairobi

After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the mid-afternoon for lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant. Spend the afternoon at leisure before our representative transfers you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flights.
