6 DAYS SAFARI LAKE MANYARA, TARENGIRE, SERENGETI, NGORONGRO.

 

Day 1: Arusha/Lake Manyara

 

Depart from Arusha at 8am and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Picnic lunches will be served on some of the picnic sites in close proximity to wildlife. We will enter Lake Manyara National Park, a photographer's paradise for game viewing. Expect to see a park teeming with wildlife including the famous tree climbing lions resting in acacia trees. From your vehicles, you will have a marvelous view of the Great          Rift Valley escarpment sparkling in the sun. Dinner and overnight at Twiga campsite

Day 2: Lake Manyara/Serengeti

 After breakfast, we will start our drive past the unique and gorgeous Ngorongoro Conservation Area via the famous Olduvai Gorge also known as “The Cradle of Mankind” and eventually reach our destination of Serengeti

National Park. The gorge lies on the same spot where an ancient lake once was covered by thick layers of          volcanic ash that carefully preserved the world's earliest records of mankind. This extremely important prehistoric site was discovered by Louis and Mary Leakey and the exhibitions from different periods in its history are on display in the Oldupai Gorge Museum, located on the gorge’s rim. Our visit will also include the famous Maasai bomas, where you will be able to meet the Maasai people and get to know their culture and habits. Upon entering the Serengeti National Parkfor your game drive, you will take in the most intriguing and amazing African landscape rolling before your eyes. Day 3: Dicover Serengeti

At 06.00h we will start the sunrise game drive. You will be accompanied by the melodic singing of the birds while searching for leopards and lions hunting for their morning meal. You will also see calm hippos returning to their watery homes with their family. We will return to the campsite or where we will enjoy a late breakfast at 9.00am. We will then continue our game drive at 10.30am and stay in the wilderness for the rest of the day. Our safari drive will continue according to the time of year and we will follow the animals on their trail. Dinner and overnight will be in the heart of the Serengeti National Park according to the standard and the type of accommodation requested from our options.

Day 4: Serengeti/Ngorongoro

 After breakfast, we will start with a morning game drive and then head towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area.The highlight of the expedition will be a game drive in the Serengeti. As far as the eye can see, there are thousands upon thousands of animals in herds, wildebeests and zebras migrating together, tall and graceful giraffes, jumping antelopes and gazelles, the powerful African elephant and the most respected group of animals, the predators. You will be able to spot lean cheetahs and shy leopards, foraging hyenas, and last but not least, the king himself, the lion. While game viewing, we will enjoy our picnic lunches. Day 5: Discover Ngorongoro

After breakfast, we will proceed to Ngorongoro crater for a full-day game drive. From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, descending down into the crater, you will enjoy amazing panoramic views and if you are lucky, you will see the big five. The caldera exhibits more than 120 species of mammals. We will also visit saline lakes such as Lake Magadi, which is a magnet for flamingos and other water birds. We will also see pools full of hippos, the endangered East African black rhino, as well as birds such as the secretary bird, the white stork arriving from Europe during the wet season and kori bustards, crowned cranes, and ostriches. It is for sure a landscape of sheer beauty. Another big drawing card to this picturesque park is its dense population of predators, which include lion,hyena,jackal, and cheetah.

Day 06: Ngorongoro Crater Floor/Arusha (190km – 3 hours)
Wake up early morning for breakfast then at 0730hours drive to Ngorongoro Crater where you will descend into the Crater floor (19.2 km of diameter, 610m deep, 304 sq km) for game drives. All the Big five Rhino Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera, others are Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest, Hyena and more…Birds includes flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more.. Break for lunch at Ngoitoktok spring Picnic sites it will be an unforgettable experience.Ngorongoro Crater is often called 'Africa's Eden', the '8th Natural Wonder of the World'. A massive extinct volcano, its towering tree lined walls drop thousands of feet to a "Noah's Ark" of animals on the verdant floor below. This breathtaking oasis provides a haven for both predator and prey to live among grasslands, fresh springs and the large soda lake. Large herds of zebra, buffalo, antelope and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. At dawn, the
endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of the crater forests after
grazing on dew-laden grass in the morning mist. Nowhere else can such a diversity in wildlife be experienced in such a short period of time. After lunch proceed with fame viewing while ascending the Crater and drive to Arusha Drop off at your hotel or Airport
